Don't understand the negative 1* reviews. Paired the TAA7507 headphones with my phone first without knowing about the app. Installed the app while listening to Spotify. After installing and starting the app, it shows the connected headphones + the song currently played. I can set up the sound profile, the ANC mode etc. Nothing to complain, everything works as expected.

TAT8506 ANR Headphones. The app works flawless. It has a little trouble with the Adaptive, but then again, maybe these don't support that function. ANR on/off and Awareness options are nice. Voice or Ambient awareness make a difference in noisy places. Also work great on their own to pick out voices. Not sure why the low rating. App makes seeing everything and the options so much easier.

I recommend you to install the app, enable the additional codecs such as LDAC because the phone might not automatically recognize the hi definition Bluetooth codec. After that it is better to uninstall the app because the app can cause disruptions in connections, the volume can fluctuate and the sound effects can kick in and off for no reason while the app is installed. After I uninstalled the app the problems went away.
